Bay child killed by taxi as he crossed road in Chatty

Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a child was killed in an accident in Chatty on Monday.

A spokesperson for police Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says six-year-old Linathi Ngalo was playing in Nortjie Street, 7de Laan when a minibus collided with him.

She says the child was running into the street when the accident happened in the late afternoon.

No arrests were made.
