Bay businessman kidnapped in Sidwell

Police in Gqeberha are searching for the owner of a seafood outlet who was kidnapped outside of his business premises in Sidwell on Friday morning.

Neal Ah-Tow, who owns Neal's Fish and Chips, is still missing.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu says it is alleged that at about 7.15 am, Ah-Tow was abducted by five men as he was about to open his store on Crichton Street in Sidwell.

She says the armed men were driving a silver Chev Cruz and forced Ah-Tow into the vehicle.

A case of kidnapping was opened at Algoa Park Police.

This is a developing story.
