Five suspects are still at large after a liquor store was robbed in Church Street, Mossel Bay on Sunday afternoon.
Police warrant officer Pieter Koekemoer says the five gunmen confronted clients and staff and locked their victims in a store room.
The suspects split up and entered the business from two access doors.
All five men were armed with handguns.
The suspects did not wear gloves or balaclavas and locked the victims in a storage room.
They then robbed the business of a large amount of cash after which they fled. I
It is currently unclear whether the men fled on foot or with a vehicle. No one was injured during the incident.
The police are in possession of CCTV footage and are currently following up on leads.
