The Algoa FM team has descended upon the Garden Route for the second annual Charity Golf Day happening this Thursday, 1 June.
The golf day will take place at Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay
Algoa FM also sponsored the Mossel Bay Business Chamber networking evening that took place at the Salt & Copper Restaurant in Hartenbos on Wednesday.
Managing Director of Algoa FM, Alfie Jay, emphasized the impact and potential impact of the station in the Garden Route area as it allows the station to connect with listeners and support local causes, bringing people together and making a positive impact.
“We are proud to be part of these events and witness the unity and spirit of the Garden Route community.”
Jay said they envision a future where Algoa FM becomes an integral part of the area’s vibrant lifestyle by collaborating with schools, festivals, and other local events.
“I am excited to share that we will have a studio in this area soon. Imagine the possibilities: working with local schools to promote educational initiatives, partnering with festivals to showcase the region’s rich culture, and being present at lifestyle events that bring joy and excitement to the community.”
Jay said Algoa FM sees immense potential in the Garden Route.
“We want to be more than just a radio station broadcasting from a distance. We want to be deeply rooted in this community, understanding its pulse, and providing a platform for voices to be heard,” he added.
Account executive Angelique Strydom said they drive an integrated ongoing strategy in radio.
“The best advertising works with frequency and reaching your audience repeatedly.”
“When times are good you should advertise, but when times are bad you must advertise,” Strydom said.
