A woman who allegedly set an Eagle Bus on fire in Cape Road, Gqeberha earlier this month has been arrested.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says Mount Road detectives received information that the suspect arrived at her mother's house in Willowvale last week.
She says arrangements were made with local police to make the arrest.
The 24-year-old suspect was transported back to Gqeberha where she is expected to appear in the local magistrates court on Monday.
On November 2nd, the woman allegedly had a dispute with the bus company over a cell phone where she threatened to burn down the bus.
The bus was set alight before the suspect fled from the scene.
The damage to the bus is R3.2 million.
The woman is facing a charge of malicious damage to property.
