Zimbabwe Vice President, Constantino Chiwenga on Friday said that President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa would be inaugurated soon.
That's after the Constitutional Court dismissed opposition leader Nelson Chamisa's petition claiming that the July 30 presidential elections were fraudulent.
On Friday afternoon Chief Justice Luke Malaba dismissed the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance presidential candidate's case and declared Emmerson Mnangagwa as the duly elected president of Zimbabwe.
Malaba dismissed Chamisa’s application with costs.
