TV crew shot and killed during live TV broadcast

A US TV reporter and her cameraman have been shot dead while doing a live broadcast for a TV station in Virginia.

Twenty-four-year-old Allison Parker was conducting an interview when she and her cameraman, 27-year-old Adam Ward, were shot.

Its not known of the motive for the shooting was linked to the news report.

The incident happened several hours ago in Franklin County.
