Around 3,000 people have been evacuated from the southern terminal of the Paris Orly airport on Saturday morning, following an attack on servicemen.
Local media, citing the French Interior Ministry, reported that a special forces operation continued in the terminal.
According to reports, security forces killed a man who seized a weapon from a soldier at the Airport.
The attacker took the soldier's weapon before seeking refuge in a shop, but was then shot dead.
No one else was injured.
The French National Police tweeted that a "police operation" was underway at the airport, with an elite operations unit and bomb squad officers at the scene.
