A man who went on a shooting rampage outside the police headquarters in Dallas, Texas was shot and killed by a police sniper in his van.
The Drama began shortly after midnight when a man, who later identified himself as James Boulware, fired multiple shots at police, and later when he was cornered into a parking lot, he told negotiators that he had explosives in his van.
Boulware blamed the police for loosing custody of this son and for accusing him of being a terrorist. Police found four pipe bombs which he had placed in various locations promting authorities to evacuate buildings.
Police were worried that the van may have been rigged with explosives, and used a camera-equipped robot to inspect it rather than have officers approach it immediately.
As soon as the suspect was confirmed dead, the van erupted in flames while authorities were detonating the suspected explosives inside.
Dallas police chief says miracilously nobody else was injured or killed in the incident.
