Actress Shannon Doherty better known as Brenda Walsh in the hit 1990 television series "Beverly Hills" 90210" died on Saturday at 53.
The actress who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, announced last year that the cancer had spread to her bones and was terminal.
In 2019, her on-screen boyfriend in the show Luke Perry, who also rose to fame as a heartthrob in the hit show died at age 52, after suffering a massive stroke.
The show ran for 10 seasons from 1990 to 2000 and followed the lives and romantic entanglements of a group of teenagers living in an affluent area of Los Angeles. It became a huge international hit.
Fans paid tribute to Doherty on Twitter, following her nearly decade-long fight against cancer.
