LONDON, June 4 (Xinhua) — London police have raided the home of one of the London Bridge attackers who was shot dead within eight minutes of launching his attack last night, Sky News reported.
Police had detained four men and one woman during the raid, launched by heavily armed police at 7 a.m.
One neighbour, Damien Pettit, said police had showed him a picture of the suspect, who he thought looked like one of his neighbours.
Pettit said the man was an “affable person”, with young children, who had lived in the block for three years and used to work for TfL. He said he was someone who had tried to help in the community, including doing work with the homeless.
He said: “If it is him, it’s not the person we know.” Enditem
