A mother in Kingsville, Texas, has learned the hard way that she should not leave her phone unattended with her little boy.
Her two-year-old son got hungry and managed to access the food delivery app last week and ordered 31 burgers from McDonald’s.
He was also a very good tipper and left a R250 tip for the delivery driver on top of the order, which cost the equivalent of R1 400.
The child's mother, Kelsy Burkhalter Golden, good-naturedly saw the light side of life and posted on Facebook that she had 31 free cheeseburgers from McDonald's if anyone is interested.
She also shared a photograph of her son Barrett, who is still in nappies, proudly holding a Mcdonald's burger with a pile of neatly wrapped burgers stacked up next to him.
Her post elicited thousands of responses and also caught the attention of local TV networks as well as a TV network in Australia.
The McDonald's in Kingsville which made Barrett's 31 cheeseburgers also invited him to a meet and greet, which by all accounts, went down a treat.
