The National Prosecuting Authority says there's no plea bargain agreement yet with murder accused, Thando Siyoni, one of three people behind bars for the murder of PE teacher, Jayde Panayiotou.
Siyoli made another brief court appearance on Thursday, where he was remanded in custody until the 19th of June, when he will appear with Jayde's husband Christopher and third accused, Sizwezakhe Vumazonke.
It was also reported that Siyoni could turn state's witness.
But, NPA national spokesperson, Velekhaya Mgobhozi, says there's no deal in place yet.
"The NPA can confirm that there is no plea bargain, no plea and sentence agreement at this stage with any of the accused, either number 1, 2 or 3 there is no plea bargain. The NPA has a prima facie case, we do have sufficient evidence to take the matter to court and prosecute." says Mgobhozi.
