A naked man led German police on a wild goose chase through the western city of Aachen late Saturday, which only ended when an officer tackled him by jumping on him from a bicycle.
Police said residents called authorities just after 8 pm when they spotted the naked 25-year-old walking around the streets with no clothes on.
But when police arrived he ran away, forcing officers to chase him through several gardens before he ran back onto the street.
Unable to keep up with him, the police borrowed bicycles from passers-by and an officer managed to catch up and leap on him.
