Two men have been arrested in Melbourne in Australia after authorities seized more than 300 kilograms of liquid MDMA (Ecstasy) hidden in a consignment of French bottles of wine.
The two men aged 25 and 21 made a brief court appearance on Sunday where they were remanded in custody.
Australian Border Force officials said the 270 bottles of the wine underwent forensic testing that confirmed the presence of liquid MDMA worth tens of millions of dollars.
The bottles were labelled as 2016 Bordeaux and sent from France.
The two suspects, if found guilty, could face life in prison.
