We’re going back to where it all started for the 2023 ISUZU IRONMAN African Championship and ISUZU IRONMAN 70.3 Nelson Mandela Bay on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

To accomplish something extraordinary, you must have an extraordinary dream! A goal so high, a dream so remarkable that it's achievement to most, feels impossible. BUT we know, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"

TEMPORARY BRIDGE ON MARINE DRIVE, will impact traffic flow during the following times:

Construction on Saturday, 25 February 2023 from 05h30 - 07h30.

Deconstruction on Wednesday, 8 March 2023 from 09h00 - 11h00.

ISUZU IRONMAN African Championship Race day road closures:

Marine Drive, Beach Road & Humewood Road LANES closed to all traffic from Admiralty Way to the M4/ Walmer Boulevard from 05:00 to midnight.

Walmer Boulevard / Heugh Road / Buffelsfontein from the M4 to Mount Pleasant, including Seaview, Beachview, Sardinia Bay, Schoenmakerskop Village and Marine Drive will be closed from 05:00 – 17:30 (see flyer below for more specific information).
