This is the second year Mossel Bay will host this exciting event that donates its exhibitors' fees to charity.
IWEM is focused on bringing together like-minded individuals, wellness experts, and local businesses to raise wellness awareness and raise funds for charity. Our goal is to provide a platform for these unsung heroes to share their stories, connect with supporters, and receive much-needed resources.
The charities that are benefiting from the Expo this year are ODIN (Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need). Champions for Animal Welfare! For 9 years, ODIN has been working tirelessly to educate, sterilise, rescue, and re-home animals in need in the Eden and Karoo Districts. Their 'Freedom From Chains' initiative is just one example of their amazing work!
Then there is the Mosselbay Care Centre, a dedicated organization serving our community since 2008! Their incredible work includes: Providing daily breakfast and lunch to 160 vulnerable children from Ridgeview Primary School, operating an After Care Centre in Powertown, Kleinbrak, offering homework assistance, nutritious meals, and more to 35 children. The vendor and presenters' exhibition fee is paid directly to said charities.
Both charities will also be at the Expo with their own complimentary space to exhibit, meet and inform the public about their work.
Last year we raised over R5 000 which was split between three charities: Mosselbay SPCA, Creating Effective Families and The Haven Night shelter.
This year the Expo is featuring forty exhibitors showcasing the latest wellness products and services, from nutrition and fitness to mindfulness and self-care. We hope to inspire our guests with the lineup of ten expert speakers sharing their insights on various aspects of wellness. Plus, guests are invited to participate in our exciting raffle and silent auction, with amazing prizes to be won. With something for everyone, this is an event you won't want to miss.
