Iconic Wellness Expo in aid of ODIN and Mosselbay Care Centre

This year will be the second time Mosselbay will be hosting this exciting fundraiser event.

IWEM is focussed on bringing together like-minded individuals, wellness experts, and local businesses to raise wellness awareness and to raise funds for smaller charities that often fly under the radar. Our goal is to provide a platform for these unsung heroes to share their stories, connect with supporters, and receive much needed resources.

The charities that are benefitting from the Expo this year are ODIN (Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need). Champions for Animal Welfare! For 9 years, ODIN has been working tirelessly to educate, medicate, rescue, and re-home animals in need in the Eden and Karoo Districts. Their 'Freedom From Chains' initiative is just one example of their amazing work!

And Mosselbay Care Centre, a dedicated organization serving our community since 2008! Their incredible work includes: Providing daily breakfast and lunch to 160 vulnerable children from Ridgeview Primary School Operating an After Care Centre in Powertown, Kleinbrak, offering homework assistance, nutritious meals, and more to 35 children.

The vendor and presenters exhibition fee of R350 is paid directly to said charities to secure their space. 

Both charities will also be present at the Expo with their own complimentary space to exhibit, meet and inform the public about their work.

Last year we managed to raise over R5 000 for three charities namely Mosselbay SPCA, Creating Effective Families and The Haven Night shelter.
