Celebrate Sobriety

SANCA Garden Route is a NPO in George offering prevention and community based treatment services to people living with substance use disorders. We are celebrating 30 years of service delivery in George and one of the events planned for this special achievement is the Celebrate Sobriety Event on 29 June 2024. The main activity of the day is the launch of the Recovery Walk in the Garden Route Botanical Garden, George. Recovery is a process, not an event. As you move through the Recovery Walk, there will be meditation stations where you can think about the steps that you can take to improve your quality of live to live a healthier lifestyle. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their success stories on addressing substance use in their lives and to share messages of hope with all those who attend the event. "Celebrate Sobriety" is a special event dedicated to recognizing the resilience and strength of those who have chosen the path of sobriety. This event will serve as a platform to celebrate milestones, share personal stories of triumph, and foster a sense of community among individuals in recovery.
