The Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer presented by the Eastern Cape Department of Health takes place on Saturday, 26 October. 

START: The Boardwalk Lighthouses, Summerstrand
FINISH: NMU Cricket Grounds, 2nd Avenue
TIME: 8am
DISTANCE: 5KM
LATE ENTRY AT REGISTRATION, FEE: R70

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Date: Thursday, 24 October and Friday, 25 October
Time: 1pm-7pm
Venue: Boardwalk Exhibition, Level 1

NB. Entries can still be done at registration on Thursday and Friday at the Boardwalk, at Exhibition Level 1.

ROAD CLOSURE DETAILS:

A full road closure supported by traffic officials and marshals will be at the following intersections in Marine Drive:

2. 3rd Ave
3. 4th Ave
4. 5th Ave
5. 6th Ave
6. 7th Ave
7. 8th AveTorquay Street/9th 
8. Ave10th Ave
9. Bude Street
10. Scarborough Street
11. 11th Ave
12. Bournemouth Street
13. Admiralty Way
14. Entrance to and from Something Good Roadhouse 
15. Entrance to and from Summer Seas Beachfront Apartments
16. Entrance to and from Red Windmill/Barneys
17. Entrance to and from the Road Lodge
18. Traffic Lights at Brookes Hill Drive

There will also be Traffic Officials, Marshals & Barriers in 2nd Ave, at the following roads:

Skegnes Road | Brighton Road | 2nd AveTraffic Circle | Erasmus Traffic Circle.

Please adhere to the instructions of the Traffic Officials and Road Marshalls.

1. Parking will be available at the NMU Cricket Field
2. Entrance to the parking located on Erasmus Drive
