Zozi is up against fellow South Africans, rapper, actress and poet, Sho Madjozi, Emmy Award-nominee, actress Thuso Mbedu, magician and TikTok star Wian van den Berg and model Karl Kugelmann .
Nominated from across the continent are Nigerian YouTube phenomenon Dimma Umeh; Kenyan comedian and internet sensation Elsa Majimbo and African Movie Academy Award-winning actress Lydia Forson from Ghana.
Fellow South African Charlize Theron has been nominated in for “The Female Movie Star” and “The Action Movie Star” awards for her role Andromache of Scythia in “The Old Guard”.
The E! People’s Choice Awards will be broadcast on Sunday 15 November, starting with Live From The Red Carpet at 02:00 and the ceremony at 04:00. The ceremony will be repeated the following day on Monday 16 November at 9:30. Only on E!.
