Congratulations to nineteen-year-old Zama Khumalo from Emalahleni in Mpumalanga, who walked away with R1 million, a car and record deal with Kalawa Jazmee in season 16 of SA Idols this past weekend.
Added to that is 150 000 worth of the latest Samsung products, the all-new Toyota Starlet 1.4, R100 000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120 000 and R80 000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha.
The finale received over 29 million votes with Khumalo beat runner-up, Lungisani "Mr Music" Mthetwa to the title.

The grand finale took place at the State Theatre in Pretoria, it was a spectacular live event that included performances from last year’s “Idols SA” winner Luyolo Yiba, crowd favourite DJ Zinhle and Loyiso, Cassper Nyovest, Busiswa, Kamo Mphela, Reece Madlisa & Zuma, Ami Faku, Vusi Nova and the Mzansi Gay Choir.
