The Young and the Restless star Kristoff St. John has died at the age of 52. He was found by a friend on Sunday at his home in the San Fernando Valley, California.
Police and paramedics were called to the house where he was pronounced dead at the scene. While no evidence of foul play has been reported in his death, an official autopsy is still be carried out as to the cause of his demise.
Kristoff had played the role of Neil Young in the CBS soapie from 1991, a role which had earned him nine Daytime Emmy nominations. At the time of his death he was engaged to Russian model Kseniya Mikhaleva, who shared her absolute shock about his death in a heartfelt post on social media.

TMZ has reported that he was being treated for depression related to the death by suicide of his son back in 2014. May you rest in peace Kristoff St John.
