CAPE TOWN, April 20 (ANA) - The atmosphere was electrifying as thousands of wrestling fans came to get just a glimpse of their favourite WWE superstars at the Grandwest Arena in Cape Town on Thursday night.
Cape Town's "WWE nation" was treated to frantic action and emotions over two nights this week as stars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Mandy Rose, Sasha Banks took to the wrestling square. Some WWE fans even travelled from as far as Durban to be part of the action.
Clear show favourite Roman Reigns, known to many as "The Dog". He ended up victorious against arch rival Samoa Joe in the main events on both nights Wednesday and Thursday.
Though entirely predictable and no little farce, the show still enthralled captivated youngsters rooted for their heroes to beat up the bad guys. One young fan, seeing his hero Reigns beaten down to ground by Joe, screamed :"Come on Roman, get up, I didn't come here to waste my money!"
The WWE show moves to Johannesburg for two shows on Friday and Saturday.
