South African singing sensation Tyla made her first appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night in the US.
Colbert introduced the young star by saying: ‘‘She won Best African Music Performance at this year's Grammy awards. Performing ART from her self-titled album, Tyla.”
Tyla returned to SA from the Grammys on 31 March to celebrate her win with her local fans. She was soon to announce that she was postponing and cancelling her international tour dates, as well as a scheduled appearance at Coachella, due to an injury.
Tyla has previously performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the Swedish talk show Bianca, which was her TV debut.
