The dynamic and legendary Tina Turner has shared a message with her fans about what it feels like to hit 80. Tina officially hit the milestone on the 26th of November.
She has had an incredible career that spanned 60 years and it is doubtful that turning 80 will slow her down. In the last couple of years, she has created Tina, a musical based on her life story and her second memoir, Tina Turner: My Love Story, was released in October 2018.
All this despite facing many health challenges in recent years. In 2013 she suffered a stroke and had to learn to walk again, three years later she was diagnosed with kidney failure and intestinal cancer. And just two years ago she underwent a successful kidney transplant thanks to her husband Erwin Bach’s organ donation.
