A teaser for the much-anticipated Friends reunion special has finally dropped with a flighting date of the 27th of May announced by HBO.
In addition to the famous six members of the cast, a host of celebrity guests will make an appearance including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Tom Selleck, and K-pop band BTS.
Friends: The Reunion was supposed to have been filmed over a year ago but was put on hold due to the global pandemic. This episode is an unscripted, one-off special filmed on the same set of the original sitcom in Los Angeles.
All six of the lead cast members - Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry will be back together for the first time since the hugely popular show ended its run on NBC in 2004.
Jennifer Aniston, who has probably had the most successful career post Friends, took to Instagram to announce the flighting date along with a short clip of the cast, her caption read: "It's official! The #FriendsReunion premieres on May 27th on @HBOMax - could we BE any more excited?!"
