WATCH: The Downtown Abbey movie trailer has dropped

The popular British historical drama is about to hit the big screen in the form of a full-length movie.

The series ended in 2015 and fans have been waiting since then for the rumoured feature film to make its appearance. The action picks up on the big screen from where it ended on the small screen. The Crawley’s receive official correspondence that the King and Queen of England will be visiting and staying at Downton Abbey and with that, the fun begins!

There is no word yet on a premiere date for South Africa.
