Extravagant and out of this world - yes we’re talking the lavish nuptials of Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung – the celebrity wedding where the guests were asked to wear white with footwear that had to have red soles.
The dazzling wedding took place yesterday and while there are plenty of pictures doing the rounds on social media by the A-list attendees, if you are hungry for more you will have the chance to witness not only their union but also the coming together of two households from different cultures in the comfort of your own living room very soon.
It’s called Somizi & Mohale: The Union and it’s a four-part Showmax Original that premieres on the 24th February.
From their traditional wedding in Kibler Park in Johannesburg last year to their white wedding in Muldersdrift, it’s an up-close and personal look at the trials and tribulations of a gay couple who are sending out a very strong message to the rest of Mzansi.
