M-Net is starting the new year with a bang as it debuts its series Lioness featuring an all-star cast of veteran SA actors. This brand new crime drama promises to keep you on the edge of your seat with a compelling storyline and outstanding acting talent.
Starting in January, this powerful drama series tells the story of a woman who loses her children, her lover, and her freedom when she is framed for fraud committed by her husband before his death, only to discover, eight years later, while trying to reunite with her son and daughters, that he is still alive. Lioness is created and produced by Ochre Moving Pictures.
Group Executive of Programming, Nkateko Maboso said of their plans for 2021", M-Net channel 101 is getting bigger with a broad range of storytelling that speaks to our viewers, and we look forward to drawing in new audiences too.
