This new documentary series features exclusive interviews with eight survivors as it chronicles three decades of abuse by the now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein who used his power and tremendous wealth to conceal his predatory behaviour.
Courtney Wild, Rachel Kay Benavides, and Virginia Roberts Giuffre appear in the series, along with four other victims who have chosen to speak out for the first time.
Filming of the series continued up until the release date as the producers wanted to include the FBI arrest of British socialite and alleged Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell on July 2, 2020.
Maxwell was arrested on charges that she conspired with Epstein to sexually abuse minors. Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to the charges and her lawyers have argued she has been made a scapegoat following Epstein’s death.
In promoting the series, Lifetime has said that it reveals the horrifying truth of Epstein's thirty-year reign of abuse.
The four-hour documentary will run over two episodes, on September 7 and 14 at 8.05 pm on Lifetime, DStv channel 131.
