Carey's biggest international success, with an estimated sale of over 16 million copies, has been given a touch of Ndlovu Youth Choir magic.
The song has become a Christmas must play for every radio station around the world and it continues to surge in popularity with each passing year with most fans admitting to blasting the volume and singing along when it airs.
Taking to Instagram the choir said:" May our performance of Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas is You' be a timely reminder to make this Christmas special for those at risk this year. Stay safe and reach out with love, care, and the spirit of Ubuntu. @mariahcarey #christmasiscoming".
The music video is set in the choir’s hometown of Mouse, Limpopo and tells the tale of a gogo who is heartbroken at the thought of having to spend Christmas without her family. Cue the familiar strains of “All I Want for Christmas” and …..well…..let’s not spoil it for you!
