Sixty-one-year-old Meg Ryan, the undisputed darling of the romantic comedy genre in the ’90s, is making her rom-com comeback in the upcoming film What Happens Later.
In the movie, Ryan stars opposite 63-year-old David Duchovney, the American actor, writer, and producer famous for playing FBI agent Fox Mulder on the television series The X-Files.
The recently released trailer gives us a peak at this romantic comedy which is based on a play called Shooting Star. Ryan plays Willa who runs into her ex-boyfriend Bill (played by Duchovney) at the airport. But when a blizzard hits and both flights are delayed, the former couple find themselves unexpectedly spending time together.
