WATCH: Local thriller "Cut Out-Girls" delves into the world of date rape

Writer and director Nicola Hanekom’s first feature film Cut -Out Girls has as its central theme the topic of date rape. On at movie houses across South Africa right now, it is based on the play of the same title, which Hanekom also wrote. She describes the movie as a youth thriller that explores why date rape so often happens.
