Ye, more commonly known as Kanye West


The 44-year-old rapper and record producer has been named a suspect in a battery report following an alleged physical altercation that occurred in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday morning.

An LAPD source confirmed the incident to PEOPLE saying : "The report was taken at 3 a.m. and the incident occurred at Santa Fe.
