The much anticipated African period drama, Ifalakhe, had its first screening last night on Mzansi Magic, making it the first black period series to feature on South African television.
Director Mamamitse Thibede tells the story of the Zulu Kingdom and the history of the Nguni nation pre colonisation. Take a look at the trailer right here, watch the first episode on catch up if you missed it and then make a date every Sunday night on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) at 8 pm if period drama is your "thing".
