Media personality Minnie Dlamini and hubby Quinton Jones are bringing compelling African stories to our screens – Goodbye Gogo has dropped just in time for Heritage Day.
The movie is available on Showmax and has Quinton and Minnie as both co-writers and executive producers, it tells the story of a rich matriarch who, on her deathbed, wishes to repair her broken relationships with her family.
Mrs. Linah Dlamini (Gogo), the matriarch who is dying of cancer, is played by veteran thespian Thembi Mtshali-Jones. Goodbye Gogo also stars, The Throne star Keke Mphuti and Uzalo actor Sizwe Khumbuza .
The film is the directorial debut of Safta-nominated actor Neo Ntlatleng (Zone 14) and Alex Hlabangane.
