Thanks to the global rescue organization Four Paws, 5 big cats rescued from deplorable conditions at a private facility in Romania, have arrived in South Africa
The five young lions endured several transnational flights and hours of being confined in transport cages before arriving at the Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary in Bethlehem, South Africa.
Taking to Instagram Four Paws wrote: “The moment we have all been waiting for: The 5 Romanian lions are home! We rescued them from horrible conditions in private keeping last year and brought them to @felida_bigcatsanctuary where they recovered and got all the medical treatment they needed”.
“We can’t wait to see them play and have fun in their new home. We are so grateful that we were able to make this new start possible for the young lions. Welcome home in paradise dear Roman, Geena, Dolf, Vincent, and Ellie”.
