Sound of Freedom is the must-see true story of former government agent, Tim Ballard (Jim Caviezel) who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hundreds of children from sex trafficking in South America.
Eight years in the making the film premiered June 29th in the USA, shining a light on the two million children trafficked every year. Distributed by Angel Studios, the team behind the hit Biblical series, The Chosen, Sound of Freedom , tells the riveting story of Ballard's mission to shine a light on the “darkness" even if it costs him his job, and maybe his life.
Variety has said of the film: "Sound of Freedom is a compelling movie that shines an authentic light on one of the crucial criminal horrors of our time, one that Hollywood has mostly shied away from”.
Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino, who plays Ballard’s wife Kim, believes it is a “moral imperative” that people the world over witness the atrocities that are taking place and about which little is being done.
The producer of Sound of Freedom, Eduardo Verastegui, echoed her sentiments saying on Instagram, “Every parent around the world, every father, every mother should see this film.”

The movie releases in the USA on Impendence Day July 4.
Billionaire entrepreneur and owner and chairman of Twitter , Elon Musk has given his nod of approval to the Sound of Freedom and has encouraged the producers to stream it on his social media platform.
Outside of America, according to Just Watch ,it will be available to view on Prime Video in September.
