WATCH : Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The official release date of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' is November 11

The teaser trailer to the sequel of the Oscar-nominated superhero film has dropped! Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees the return to the screen of many of the actors who starred in the original 2018 film, such as Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Winston Duke as M’Baku, and Letitia Wright as Shuri.

And the question on the lips of fans everywhere  – how will Chadwick Boseman’s role in the movie be handled? Boseman died unexpectedly in 2020 and following the news, Marvel Studios announced that the role of T'Challa would not be recast, nor would he appear via CGI.

There is still more than a three-month wait for it to hit theatres on November 11 – in the meantime, you can whet your appetite by watching the official teaser trailer right here.

The movie's official synopsis:

Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M'Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.
