American singer Belinda Carlisle might have disappeared from our radar in South Africa, but abroad, she is showing no signs of fading from the spotlight at the age of 65.
Carlisle gained fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go's and went on to have a successful career as a solo artist coming out to South Africa in 2005 to perform at the launch of the Altech South African Grand Prix. She proved to be such a hit with audiences,she was booked for a concert tour of SA performing in Port Elizabeth at the UPE Indoor Sports Areana on the 20th of August of the same year.
