The question on the lips of royal fans everywhere: was Thomas Markle told about his daughter's pregnancy prior to it breaking in the media?
It would seem that while the news was breaking across the globe, 74-year-old Thomas was going about the very ordinary business of shopping for beers, pies and firewood. According to some reports, Thomas heard the news from his ex-wife, Doria Ragland, prior to the official announcement. Kensington Palace is remaining mum on whether or not he was told along with the rest of the family.
Meanwhile, dare we say it, the 'ugly half-sister' Samantha Markle, has taken the opportunity to add her voice to the well-wishers saying that she hopes it can be an opportunity to heal the rifts in the family. She told The Sun: “It just makes everything that happened over the last year disappear."
