Want to help the flood victims but don’t know how?

There has been an overwhelming response from across the metro to the plight of the victims of the devasting floods of the past weekend. But, the rain is not over, and the need continues.

If you would like to assist but do not know where to drop off or where you can make donations, here are the links to several NPO’s involved in the widespread relief efforts.

If there is any other organisation that should be on this list, kindly mail cat@algoafm.co.za with the relevant information.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber and the Gift of the Givers Foundation joined forces initially to facilitate the delivery of goods to needy areas but with a measure of control now in place, PLEASE NOTE that the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber is no longer acting as a collection point in respect of flood victims.

Should you still wish to assist please see the NPO's listed below.

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League Port Elizabeth is looking for food, blankets, sawdust, pig food, dog and cat food. Drop off points at Bargain Box, 9th Ave. Walmer and 30 Kragga Kamma Rd, Sunridge Park.
