Virginia Giuffre files lawsuit against Prince Andrew

Virginia Giuffre

‘Pursuit of justice doesn’t stop with Epstein - the elites who trafficked me and so many others are going down - the house of cards will begin to fall” – Virginia Giuffre.

Proving true to her words, Giuffre is suing Prince Andrew for allegedly assaulting her when she was a teenager.

On Monday, lawyers for  Giuffre, an accuser of the now-deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court, the same place where the mega-wealthy US financier was charged criminally with sex trafficking in 2019. He killed himself a month later, at age 66, as he awaited trial in federal jail next to the court.

While the prince has acknowledged his friendship with Epstein and said he was a guest at some of his luxurious properties, he has repeatedly denied the accusations of sexual assault by Giuffre. Giuffre claims that Epstein trafficked her to the prince when she was just 17.

In a press release to the media, Giuffre said she was “holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me”.

In a BBC Newsnight interview in 2019, Prince Andrew said he had never had sex with Giuffre, saying: "I can absolutely categorically tell you it never happened."

The duke went on to say that he had "no recollection" of ever meeting her and even went so far as to suggest that a picture, inserted below, showing him with his arm around Giuffre may have been doctored.

It’s the story that will not go away and it looks like the ‘royal camp’ will have to get ‘lawyered up’ to face this one.
