Ferrell, who played housekeeper Berta on the long-running sitcom, died on Monday from complications suffered after going into cardiac arrest at the Sherman Oaks Hospital in California.
Although she was a regular cast member of five TV sitcom series, she will always be remembered for her role in Two and a Half Men which aired for 12 seasons between 2003 and 2015.
Since her passing tributes have been pouring in from her fellow co-stars on the popular sitcom. Jon Cryer, Angus T Jones, Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher, were just some of the celebrities who took to social media to share their love and respect for her.
Co-star Cryer took to Twitter to pay tribute saying: “ Berta’s gruff exterior was an invention of the writers. Chatty’s warmth and vulnerability were her real strengths. I’m crying for the woman I’ll miss, and the joy she brought so many.
She was a beautiful human
