Trevor Noah has a go at Julius Malema and Black Twitter goes into overdrive

One of South Africa’s most famous exports, Trevor Noah, who currently hosts the popular US late-night show, "The Daily Show," decided to use his global platform to have a go at the country’s recent general election by comparing EFF leader, Julius Malema to American President Donald Trump.

In the insert shared on "The Daily Show's Twitter account, Noah referred to Malema as a "popular anti-establishment politician".

"If you think Trump is bad, wait until you see how Julius treats the press," Noah said before an insert of controversial clips of Malema was played.

There was strong reaction in his home country with many reactions both for and against his depiction of  Malema.

There has been no response from Noah's PR team or Noah himself.
