Toni Braxton was once again hospitalised due to complications from Lupus. The 49-year-old singer was set to perform in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday night but was forced to postpone her show due to complications from Lupus. A note was posted to her Twitter account early in the day on Saturday, stating, "Toni Braxton was hospitalized this afternoon in Cleveland due to complications with her Lupus. Unfortunately her show tonight in Cleveland will need to be postponed." "Lupus needs to be constantly monitored and this minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour," the statement continued. Braxton proved she will not let her illness hold her down as sh shared a photo leaving the hospital, with a caption, expressing her appreciation for her fans' support. "Hey guys, thanks for all of your well wishes and understanding. I am out of the hospital, and en route to CHICAGO! I can not wait to see you all TONIGHT at the Arie Crown Theater!! #TheHitsTour. Braxton's last two shows in Detroit, Michigan, and Kansas City, Missouri, went off without a hitch, and she's expected to continue on with her U.S. tour, barring any complications. Braxton was hospitalised earlier this month, for similar issues relating to her autoimmune disease, where her rep stated that, "She was not in serious condition, though lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times." Braxton first revealed her ongoing battle with the disease in April 2011 and was admitted to the hospital twice in 2012 for "health issues related to lupus & blood clots," she told fans on Twitter.
