Sharing a picture showing her dropping a red rose into the sea, Tina Turner says her final goodbye to her eldest son Craig.
Tina Turner has described scattering her son's ashes as her "saddest moment as a mother".
Craig Raymond Turner, who was the singer's eldest son, died from a gunshot wound in his home earlier this month.
He is believed to have taken his own life.
Turner tweeted a photo showing her dropping a red rose into the sea, with her family beside her.
She wrote: "My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California.
"He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby."
The Simply The Best singer has three other children, Ronnie, 57 - her only son with Ike, Ike Jr, 59, and Michael, 58, Ike's children from a previous relationship, who Turner raised as her own.
