Eighteen-year-old Dazhariaa Shaffer, better known as 'Dee, to her fans ' has died from suicide - the teenager tragically took her own life after posting a final video to social media.
Her death on Monday 8th February was confirmed by her parents through a Facebook post, her father Raheem Alla wrote, "I just want to thank everyone for their love and support for my daughter. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us and has gone to a better place."
A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the family in arranging a proper final farewell for her.
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Shaffer steadily rose to fame on TikTok, amassing over 1.4 million followers. She also had thousands of followers on Instagram and YouTube and was famous for simply documenting her life.

Although Alla was not her birth father, something she spoke about in her videos, it is clear that he adored her. He is responsible for setting up the GoFund me page which has so far raised over $4000. In a heartbreaking statement on the GoFund me page Alla said, "She was my little best friend and I wasn't prepared in any way to bury my child. Dazhariaa was so happy and would be so excited to see me when I come home from being on the road. I only wish she would have spoken to me about her stress and the thoughts of suicide."
It is not known at this stage what led to the youngster taking her own life.
