Nine years ago tabloids and entertainment news sites were ablaze with the scandalous revelation that Tiger Woods had been anything but a faithful and loving spouse to his stunning ex-model wife, Erin Nordegren. The seemingly fairy tale romance saw the part time model and celebrity golfer get engaged at the Eastern Cape’s Shamwari Game Reserve when Tiger was in South Africa attending the 2003 President’s Cup Tournament.
Fast Forward to 2018 and reports have surfaced of a now amiable friendship between the two. Tiger ,42, and Erin, 38, apparently decided that it would be in the best interests of their children to try and build a friendship together and they now often pick up the phone and call one another to chat about the kids. They have a ten year old daughter, Sam and a nine year old son, Charlie.
Erin’s divorce settlement was a cool R1 217 625 989,00, yes we know, it is a staggering amount of money. Since the ugly and much publicised divorce, she has gone back to school and is expected to receive her master’s degree in May of this year. Erin graduated in 2014 from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, with a degree in psychology and was awarded the Outstanding Senior award. Nice one Erin!
